Typical Home School Fun!

We had a wonderful day yesterday with beautiful Spring-like weather!  I loaded the kiddos up and we spent the day at our favorite park just outside of town.  Except for a few campers, we usually have the park to ourselves during the week.  We love spending time here because there is so much adventure and exciting things to see and do.  There are playgrounds, hiking, and bike trails... sand to play in, rocks to jump!  We especially enjoy watching the fishermen at the dam... and the barges as they load up sand.  We have on occasion been able to hear the siren from the dam.  Very cool.

What great field trip fun for curious students!





Back at home today, we've started these books for all three kids ages two, four, six.

 

 It is always nice when the older ones can help with the littles...

 

And makes for an enjoyable day of learning! :)

 

I started picking one day a week that we have a "lunch out and library day".

Good behavior at the library is rewarded with dessert at lunch.

This is my fav, and hope it will be theirs too! :)
