Summer 2013... So Far!

The first half of 2013 has come and gone as quickly as an Arkansas tornado!

I asked Hubby yesterday... "Didn't we JUST take the Christmas tree down?"

 

Here is what we've been doing so far this summer:

 Yep... we're tawrd.

So!  I came up with a great idea for the kiddos, in order that WE might get some much needed rest.  (Because they crawl into our bed almost nightly, which I know one day we will miss... but.... ;)

 

On Monday, I told them that if they stay in their own beds all night, four nights in a row, they could sleep anywhere they wanted in the house on Friday night.  My goodness, it worked!!

 

They have been so excited all week and telling everyone how they were going to sleep...

in Mom & Dad's room. ;)

So this morning, they are packing up items needed to campout in our room tonight. 
The best part is that their little nephew Ashton will be spending the night!

We'll see if this was such a good idea after all!  ;)
